Exploring Their Past, Present, and Future

Related Resources

An extensive variety of resources for teaching the NAC2O course, including resources developed for Emond Montgomery's First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples: Exploring Their Past, Present, and Future. Some are of specific interest to Bearskin Lake and the other Oji-Cree communities of the Severn River area in northwestern Ontario. Although this course is a 20th-century history of Aboriginal peoples in Canada, about half of the course of study focuses on contemporary social and political issues in Aboriginal communities.
